Our installations are built on the top of a hill overlooking Drake Bay, which is named for the legendary pirate, Sir Francis Drake, who according to history buried treasure here. For us, the true treasures are the beautiful beaches and the natural resources of the Corcovado National Park and the amazing marine life of Caņo Island, both located close to Drake Bay on the Southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
El Mirador is the perfect place to spend your vacation in touch with the rainforest and yet very close to the beach. Our hilltop location is in Drake Bay, but away from the hustle and bustle of the town and with a panoramic view of the bay and a great lookout area ready and waiting with hammocks! According to Lonely Planet, Mirador has one of the best views of the sunset in the country, second only to Chirripo!
We have 3 hectares of land and 200 meters of beach front for swimming and exploring. Corcovado National Park is located 8 miles south and Caņo Island is 12 miles west of Drake Bay.
